Creative English,
Storytelling and Speech & Drama
Young children learn best when language is connected to movement, imagination, stories and play. This pathway uses storytelling, creative drama, poems, songs, rhymes and simple performance activities to build listening, speech confidence and a positive relationship with English.
Learners develop:
Listening and response skills
Clearer speech and growing vocabulary
Confidence participating in a group
Imagination and expression
Early performance skills
Enjoyment of stories, poems and spoken language
Possible award pathway:
Trinity Stars Young Performers Awards, including Bronze and Silver, where suitable.
These play-based group awards may include an official certificate, medal and examiner feedback, subject to the requirements of the selected award.
