Learners choose a pathway around their interests, school needs and future goals—from formal discussion and debate to academic literacy or performance.
Programme 1: Advanced Communication Skills
Learners develop skills in formal discussion, debate, persuasive speaking, group communication and academic presentations.
They practise structuring ideas, supporting opinions, responding to questions and speaking with greater fluency and control.
Possible examination pathway:
Trinity Communication Skills Initial-Grade 8, depending on the learner’s ability, experience and readiness.
Programme 2: English Proficiency and Academic Literacy
Lessons strengthen reading analysis, vocabulary, grammar, organised writing and academic expression.
Learners are guided to interpret more demanding texts, develop arguments and express ideas with increasing accuracy and sophistication.
Possible examination pathway:
Trinity ISE, where suitable for learners developing integrated reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. Trinity GESE, where the main focus is spoken English and listening confidence.
Optional Performance Pathway: Speech & Drama
For students interested in performance, expressive reading, literature and character interpretation, Speech & Drama may be offered as a separate pathway.

Trinity Speech & Drama Initial-Grade 8, depending on the learner’s ability, experience and readiness
