FES Learning Academy is launching a new HSK Mandarin Development Programme for non-native Mandarin learners who want to learn Mandarin in a structured, practical and confidence-building way.
Led by our bilingual Mandarin teacher Yiling Xie, the programme
supports learners from beginner level upwards through clear pronunciation training, essential vocabulary, listening practice, guided speaking, character recognition, reading and writing
development.
This programme is suitable for children, teenagers and adult learners who are learning Mandarin as a foreign language for school, study, travel, cultural understanding or future opportunities.
Programme Aim
The aim of the programme is to help learners develop practical Mandarin communication skills while progressing towards suitable HSK grading goals, where appropriate.
Learners will build:
Accurate Mandarin pronunciation and tone
Mandarin
Everyday listening and speaking confidence
Essential vocabulary and sentence patterns
Chinese character
recognition
Reading and writing foundations
Confidence using
Mandarin in real
situations
HSK-aligned language
skills and exam
readiness
HSK Development Pathway
Learners may progress towards:
Foundation Mandarin
For complete beginners
building pronunciation,
pinyin, tones and basic
communication.
HSK 1–3 Preparation
For learners developing
everyday vocabulary,
simple sentence
structures, listening and
reading confidence.
HSK 4–6 Preparation
For learners who want to
communicate more
independently, read longer texts and express ideas with greater accuracy.
Higher HSK Support
For learners preparing for
more advanced Mandarin
study, academic needs or
future China-related
pathways.
